Staying out of harm's way

We assist in going over safety procedures for in the home and in the community. Our staff also follows all COVID-19 preventative guidelines and encourages our clients to do the same. Also, we practice for emergency situations and keep an eye out for preventable dangers.

A home being safe and free of dangers, such as clutter can help protect your loved one from emergencies. For example, a house-fire and being able to get out quickly or preventing falls in accident-prone areas. We will work with your family member on practicing good habits around their home to keep your loved one/s safe.

Get up-to-date information in regards to COVID-19 and homecare, in articles on our Bulletin.

The many online dangers.

Risks on the internet

When it comes to safety, another thing to go over is the internet that we all love to be on. It is great to be able to have Facebook and other forms of social media to stay close to family and friends. We will not only help when it comes to getting your online life going, we will also go over safe practices. This is to protect themselves from scams and risks which may jeopardize their personal information. Also, it can lead to unsafe communications or even effect their mental health and well-being.

We will do this by going over it with discussion and document what was gone over. Lasty, we'll discuss how your family member did with each safety procedure practiced.
